DBI Today: 47.4 (+0.2)

Note: the DBI moved to a 6-pillar methodology on 25 May 2026. Pre-change scores shown for context only.

Wall Street opened June the way it closed May — in record territory. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the index tracking thirty of America's biggest companies, crossed 51,000 for the first time in its history on Friday. The S&P 500 — which tracks America's 500 largest public companies — posted its ninth consecutive weekly gain, its longest winning streak since 2023. Dell Technologies surged 33% after blowout AI server revenues, and Snowflake, the cloud-data company, added to the week's AI excitement. And yet the DBI moved only fractionally. That small nudge is the real story: the data underneath the market's victory lap is more complicated than the closing bell suggested.
